Changes to Ticketing

From 24th March 2024 there are a number of changes to ticketing products as Go North West services join the Bee Network.

Go North West tickets will no longer be available for sale on the following services:

  • 6, 17, 17A, 18, 33, 33B, 41, 52, 53, 67, 67A, 90, 93, 95, 97, 98, 100, 129, 135, 415

AnyBus products will still be available for sale and use in the System One Zone. Bee Bus tickets will be available for travel to Warrington on service 100.

Pre-purchased Go North West tickets will generally no longer be accepted on the services listed above from Sunday 24th March. However, Go North West 7 day and 28 day tickets will be accepted on Bee Network services for a limited time only:

  • 7 day tickets until the end of the day on Friday 29th March 2024 - this includes Rochdale Road weeks
  • 28 day tickets up to the end of the day on Friday 19th April 2024

For Go North West App customers there will be a number of important changes.

  • Tickets that have been purchased since early December 2023 are only available for activation in your ticket wallet up to Saturday 23rd March 2024. It will not be possible to activate these tickets after 23rd March. If you wish to receive a refund for a ticket that has not been activated, please contact our Customer Services Team on the email address below.
  • Tickets purchased before early December 2023 will allow activation for up to 12 months from the date they were bought. We would encourage customers to activate and use these tickets before 23rd March wherever possible. If you have any tickets in your wallet that have not been activated by 23rd March, please contact our customer services team who will be happy to refund any unused tickets. If you activate any of these tickets after 24th March and are therefore only able to use part of the ticket before acceptance ends on Bee Network services, please contact our customer services team who will be able to help.
  • Our range of 2023-2024 Student tickets all expire on 23rd March 2024, so no action is required. 
  • Customers with annual tickets or other partly used ticket products such as 10 trip tickets and 1 day ticket bundles will not be able to use these tickets from Sunday 24th March. Please contact our customer services department who will be pleased to discuss a refund for the unused portion of your tickets.
  • The Go North West app will remain active until 19th April to allow any 28 days tickets activated up to 23rd March to be used in full. It will also remain available in app stores in the event of any customers needing to change phones. However, no journey planning is available and no tickets will be on sale after this date.
