Engineering Apprentice


We've got a rare opportunity to join our team as an Apprentice Engineer.

Our Engineering Apprentice programme is a four year programme which gives you the skills, knowledge and technical expertise to work across the entire Go North West fleet of buses. Under the expert supervision of our team of knowledgeable engineers, you'll learn about inspections, servicing, fault diagnosis and repair.

Technology is constantly evolving - and our training is, too, which measns you'll always be up to date with the latest developments in the field. 

On our apprentice programme, you'll gain an industry-recognised education to become a fully qualified engineer. You will train both in and outside the classroom, and learn from some of the besy in the business. The details

Your expected start date will be around October 2021. The role will consist of a 38 hour week, typically Monday to Friday, 7am - 3.30pm. 

You'll gain a Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Level 3 bus and coach technical accredited qualfication as part of your role. You'll be based at our Queens Road depot in the heart of Manchester, along with 8 weeks' worth of vocational training which could be at colleges in Bristol or Manchester. 

Salary is competitive, with annual increases throughout the duration of your apprenticeship.
