Summary of changes

We know that you rely on our buses to get to work, to school, to the shops and elsewhere, and we’d like to reassure you that we are continuing to follow government advice and guidance and will continue to provide a good service on our buses in support of our community.

From Tuesday 14 April, we will be increasing frequencies across our core routes to better support social distancing, and to reduce the risk of overloading. More double deckers will be out and about at busy times, too.

Here's how our buses will be running from Tuesday 14 April. 

17 Manchester - Rochdale

the 17 will increase to run every 30 mins through the daytime, in addition to the 18, which will also increase to every 30 mins. This means there'll be a bus every 15 mins along Rochdale Road

18 Langley - MRI

along with the 17, the 18 will be increasing to run every 30 mins, creating a bus every 15 mins along Rochdale Road through the day

33 Manchester - Worsley

will run every hour, Monday to Saturday daytimes to Worsley, and every hour on evenings and Sundays as far as Eccles

41 Middleton - Sale

buses will run up to every 30 mins between NMGH and MRI. There'll be a bus every hour between Sale, Manchester and NMGH, and every hour between Middleton, Manchester and MRI, combining in the middle to provide a bus every 30 mins linking the two hospitals

52 intu Trafford Centre - Failsworth

Will run up to every 30 mins, daily. Buses will run every hour between Failsworth and Salford, and every hour between NMGH and intu Trafford Centre, combining to create a bus every 30 mins between NMGH and Salford. Buses will run every hour evenings between Failsworth and Salford only.

53 Salford Shopping Centre - Cheetham Hill

will run every hour, every day and into the evenings

67 Manchester - Cadishead

the Monday-Saturday daytime timetable will be enhanced, adding an extra bus between Shudehill, Salford Royal and Eccles. The 67 will combine with the 100 to create a bus every 20 mins between Shudehill and Eccles

92 Manchester - Bury

will run every hour, Monday to Sunday evenings. There'll be a bus every hour through the evenings, combined with the 93

93 Manchester - Carr Clough and Bury

will run every hour between Manchester and Carr Clough each day through the daytimes, and to Bury during the evenings

95 Salford - Bury

will run every hour, Monday to Saturday daytimes

97 Manchester - Bury

will run every hour through the daytimes, every day

98 Manchester - Bury

will run every hour through the daytimes, including evenings

100 Manchester - Warrington

the 100 will combine with the 67 to create a bus every 20 mins between Shudehill and Eccles. The 100 will still continue to run all the way to Warrington

135 Manchester - Bury

will now run every 20 mins through the daytime, and every 30 mins through the evenings

X63 Heywood - Manchester

The X63 will unfortunately no longer run for the time being.

Just to reassure you, we have extensive cleaning regimes that maintain high levels of hygiene, and have stepped up our efforts to protect the health and wellbeing of our customers and colleagues. We are ensuring a greater focus on high-touch areas, such as hand poles, steering wheels, ticket machines and seat backs, and increasing our efforts to maintain cleanliness in these areas.

Lost Property

With effect from 25 March 2020 we are no longer able to reunite you with lost property (except for vital medicines). You can still complete the Lost Property contact form or call us up if you've lost something, and we'll hold anything we find until things have settled. But please, stay home. Do not come to our depot.

Our temporary Lost Property number is 07980918104 and this will be manned from 08:00 - 11:00 daily.
